Frequently asked questions, how commissions work, and what to expect.
How do I book a commission with you?
Fill out the quote form above, tell me what you are thinking, and I'll reply if we are a good fit.
What are your prices?
Each project is priced individually.
Prices can range from £120-£597 for smaller works.
Anything like a mural or oversized (20 Inches and above) painting will be priced in the quote.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, I do. Either via a dedicated art courier or Royal Mail special delivery.
Is shipping included in the price?
Shipping is calculated once the piece is complete and added to the final invoice.
How does it work?
1. Submit a project using the free quote form.
2. I email you a quote.
3. Once accepted, you pay the booking fee.
Booking fees: 10% for oversized works, 50% for smaller pieces.
4. I work with you to create a unique piece you will love.
5. You pay the final fee plus shipping and I post your painting for delivery.
What if I don't like the painting?
I have over 20 years experience in art, and worked freelance since 2007.
7 Years formal training—graduating college, then university in 2000.
From sketching, to planning colours—the entire process involves you at every stage.
That way, you will have a painting you love.
So relax and enjoy the process.
It's too expensive, can you lower your price?
No.
My prices reflect qualification, experience, quality and the cost of living.
My clients tell me I am reasonable.
How big can you work?
That depends on your budget.
Fill out the quote form, tell me what you are thinking, and I'll let you know if we are a good fit.
Why didn't you reply to my project?
Not every project requested is a good fit, and I may not have space for everyone.
You are welcome to submit a project in the future.
Do you accept checks, NFT, or Crypto as payment?
No. Requests to do so will be blocked.
I accept:
- Bank / wire transfer.
- PayPal.
- Credit / Debit card.
All payments must clear into my account 72 hours before starting work, or shipping art.
Can you use a photograph as a reference?
Yes, that's fine.
I can do a portrait for you in my unique style based on a photo you provide.
You can upload several images using my reference uploader after completing the quote form.
Can you paint in X style?
No.
I only paint in my unique style.
Can you copy Y artist?
No.
I never copy another artist.
How quickly can I expect my art?
Each project varies.
Smaller works can take days, larger weeks.
I never rush a project, or work in high pressure situations.
Though I will be clear about time frames as we work.
Will you travel to paint a mural?
I will drive to location within the United Kingdom as long as petrol, food, and lodging is paid for.
For events, like festivals, all costs must be paid for.
Travel outside the United Kingdom, the above applies plus flight costs.
When will you open up for commissions again?
I accept a handful of commissions when time allows.
