One charming thing about living in the forest is that the deer come to graze outside my door.

I often stand at the window watching their elegant ways feel through the brush. While I watch, these beautiful creatures often look up at me.

I communicate their alert presence while capturing their graceful lines and spirit in these watercolours.

Deer are considered a great omen. I always see it that way when I stumble across them in the forest. They teach me alertness, restraint, and careful carefreeness.
